What this site does
Olympus PC Fieldguide helps readers understand and set up the community gow3_pc project for God of War III Remastered. It is an independent editorial guide, unaffiliated with Sony Interactive Entertainment, Santa Monica Studio or the project maintainers.
The site does not publish the community program, distribute game files or provide a commercial-game download. Program links lead to the maintainer’s GitHub release.
Sources
The technical guides use primary project material:
- Repository and documentation.
- README pinned to the reviewed release source.
- 2.4.1 release, published 16 October 2026 UTC.
- 2.4.0 release and carried-forward known issues.
- Issue tracker.
- Sony’s PS4 game listing.
The homepage’s real game footage is the 2015 PS4 launch trailer from PlayStation Europe, presented through YouTube’s embedded player. It depicts the PS4 game and provides no evidence of PC performance. We do not download or rehost it.
Version and review policy
A release tag identifies a downloadable package. The repository’s main branch can change before a new package appears. We distinguish those two states and date an editorial review only when the prose has been reviewed.
An automated source check can update the release card’s factual metadata after validation. It does not silently rewrite installation procedures or certify new releases. Known issues belong to the release in which they are reported; check upstream notes if you use a later package.
We have not benchmarked this game or completed a playthrough for these guides. Hardware examples and compatibility statements are attributed to the maintainer. A source-reported workaround is not a guarantee that it fixes every similar symptom.
Brand and design
The mountain mark and Olympus PC Fieldguide wordmark are original site branding. They are not official God of War logos. The static article foundation adapts the MIT-licensed AstroPaper theme through denis23x/denis-iakimenko, with new navigation, layout and content for this guide.
